Choose what happens after video uploads

Set automatic transcription and task creation without changing source-library processing.

   Open Uploads & tasks

   Choose Settings, then Uploads & tasks. Workspace admins can change these switches.

   Choose when to transcribe

   Auto-transcribe new uploads starts transcription automatically. With it off, use Generate transcript in the video review panel when needed. A transcript requires processing before it can be used.

   Choose automatic task creation

   Create a task when a video is uploaded adds one unassigned task for each new video when enabled. New versions do not create another task. Folder settings can affect the behavior shown in the upload guidance.

   Keep documents separate

   These switches apply to videos. They do not enable PDF uploads or start the currently inactive automatic DOCX processor in Content Studio.
